On one of the beautiful fall days of last week, we went to downtown Grand Rapids to see Art Prize.
There was art in all different venues in all different places around the town. From 3-d murals made of different colored post-its (click on the photo to enlarge it).
to beautiful carved driftwood (the impression in person was totally different than seeing a photo - it was beautiful).
We stopped at the BOB (Big Old Building) for lunch where Natali and Sue split a Bobarino Grandwich.
There were the carved bears in the fountains in front of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential museum
and the mosaic of the crucifixion (1st prize winner).
It was fun to be and see just a small part of life in Grand Rapids.
