Autumn's Closing In

It's been years since we've enjoyed the change of seasons - especially Fall, with it's own special sights, sounds, smells and tastes.
We took time out to go on a hayride this past weekend with our "kids".
Leaves are just starting to turn to Fall colors around here.
Apples are ripe for picking.
Pumpkins are big and orange and waiting to be carved.
And at the end of a hayride, there's nothing quite like the taste of apple cider and donuts.
Sunday was Sue's birthday. It's been six years since we celebrated that with family, and first time with a grandson. And there comes a time when help is needed to blow out the candles.
Good times!!
