We are settled into our apartment now, and enjoy the space.
My wife has done a nice job once again making a place into a home for us.
Earlier in the month we were able to have a short but sweet time with friends from our church in Brazil, João and Andressa and their little boy Pedro, who were traveling around Michigan.
It was fun to go out to supper and visit with them and colleagues Tim and Andrea Blazer and their family, and just catch up a little.
One of Jordan's favorites was the penguins. We were there a long time watching them swim and dive and waddle around.
He was pretty brave to go in and pet the goats and sheep, but wasn' too interested in the pigs.
He gets pretty silly when when we're together, and is willing to do most anything to get grandpa to laugh.
But then he's usually happy because Grandpa will do about anything he asks! And get about as silly as he.Of course, we stayed near Ann Arbor and spent time with Natali when she wasn't working. It was fun wandering around the cool town where she lives...at least until the thunderstorms hit.
