The future ain't what it used to be!

The weather is changing from the sunny warm days we been enjoying to cooler weather. A cold front is supposed to bring rain. I don’t care to see that coming our way as we have a church picnic planned for this Thursday - Labor Day, here.

At least it was nice this past weekend for the three day air show for the Bauru Air Club’s 80th anniversary. From our back window we could watch the stunt planes, sky writers, hot-air balloons, and fireworks. There was even a bi-plane with a stunt guy riding the upper wing.

We used to live just a block from their runway, but now from where we live on the 16th floor we could see everything from a distance, as well as closer as the stunt planes flew right over our building during the show.
Other than several meetings during the past week, there hasn’t been too much exciting going on. There’s a big government strike demonstration going by here right now, and the woman yelling over the loudspeaker sounds really angry! OK, guess I’ll write more after the Labor Day picnic.
