Sue made it back from her trip for the wedding. A few hours later she was at a pizza night for the church family. The following night was the teen meeting.
The next day, I got sick. I must have saved it up until someone was here to take care of me because I can’t remember the last time I was so sick. Thankfully, it happened during the week so I was able to be involved in weekend activities. There were still several “decision making” meetings that I led during the week, but I made it through them. By Friday, I was so wiped out that most of that day and Saturday I spent in bed, which helped me recover enough for this Sunday again. We had a tremendous Palm Sunday service yesterday, and I was glad I didn’t have to miss that! The Sunday before was the baptism of Lucas, one of our teens. He had accepted Christ as his Savior during the Carnaval retreat, and wanted to give a public testimony of that by being baptized. He is a very talented young man, and he shared that his talents will be used to serve his Lord.

Being sick is the pits-huh?! I'm feeling better now, but my body is so tired that I still can't do my regular activities, which is a downer. I guess we just have to keep sleeping :)
