Good Soil

A couple weeks ago we had fun gong to Sophia Loftis's 1st birthday party. 1st birthday parties are a custom here in Brazil. Sofia is a cutie and loves to smile for the camera. Fi-Fi didn't really relate to what was going on around her, but it was fun to see her mom Claudia and visit with other friends.
The following weekend was the Good Soil training seminar in evangelism and discipleship. There were sixteen people from church that took part. Dave Southwell and Dan Cook from our mission led the sessions. There was lots of interactive participation which helped the fifteen hours of seminar move along.

Folks commented on what a help it was to them, and some have already started using the materials.

We talked to Natali (and Joel, Lynne and Jordan) for her birthday this afternoon. Tomorrow morning we leave early for four days at beautiful Iguaçu Falls. Now, it's time to leave for church so I will end this.
