Over the next few days calls, messages and mail started coming in. She got to talk with all our kids (except Rachel who was teaching when she talked with Aaron, but who sent a message later) and her grandson Jordan who said lots of words! She also heard from all her sisters and brother! The big day started with a bouquet of roses. Then off to get her nails done, both hands and feet. When she got home, we headed out for lunch at the mall and did some shopping so she could choose her own presents. After shopping we went to see "It’s Raining Meatballs” in 3-D (more for me since she no longer sees in 3-D). It was based on a book she had read to classes when working at the library. After getting home and cleaning up a little it was out for a romantic late-night dinner.

Things didn’t end there since at the teen group we lead on Saturday nights had another celebration with singing happy birthday.
Sunday was a potluck lunch at church that started just after noon.
Happy Birthday, Honey! I love you!

"It's Raining Meatballs!" - Is that what they're calling "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" over there?!? How fun!
I absolutely loved that book as a kid, and used it often while teaching as well - I can't wait to go see it!! =]
