All Things Considered

A couple weeks ago, we went to the Symphony Christmas Pops concert on Saturday evening. That a was great way to get into the spirit of the season. We were all dressed up, but didn't have the camera along.
The next afternoon, we had Christmas with Aaron and Rachel, even though they were all sick with colds. That didn't stop Ellie from getting decked out for celebrating. This was a new experience for her.
While the big people liked the gifts they got, there was no stopping her from crinkling and ripping the wrapping paper - that was her favorite thing.
Aaron and Rachel made us a "breakfast" supper. Something our kids liked to have when they were little.

Ellie has been practicing walking. The falling down doesn't hurt so much on Bahpa and Bahma's carpeting.
One day she stopped by, lovely in her Christmas dress, ready to go meet Santa.
However it was not quite the same reaction once she was on Santa's lap!
This past Saturday, was an airport trip, dropping off Aaron and family who flew up to San Francisco for a get together with Rachel's family.
On our way to church the next day, Sue commented that she wasn't feeling well. Not a good thing when you have no immune system.
But there was no stopping her! On Christmas eve day, she still made special treats to pass out to our neighbors.  And by evening, though she was really sick, she fixed a fancy table and meal for us to enjoy.
Christmas morning, she pleaded not to have pictures taken, but finally conceded...and she really didn't look as bad as she felt.
Talking with all of our kids on Christmas day, Natali and I were the only ones who survived Christmas without getting sick this year. Still, all things considered, it was a very nice Christmas!
